Man Accused of Trying to Arrange Sex with Minor

A 61-year-old Tahoma man was arrested on suspicion of violating Penal Code Section 288.3, “arranging meeting with minor for purpose of exposing or procuring exposure of genitals or pubic or rectal area, or engaging in lewd or lascivious behavior,” according to a statement from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Clarence Vince early Thursday in front of his home, authorities said.

Vince, reached at his home Friday, declined to comment on the allegations.
